An extremely rare carved stone bench from the home of Thomas Fowell Buxton , 1st baronet, MP (with William Wilberforce) worked on abolition of slavery. Shadwell lodge, of Norfolk.

The bench needs restoration, it weighs a ton, made of looks like solid slate, the seat and back will need cutting down making the bench a bit shorter, one of the ends has broken piece that will need pinning together or glueing back.

Restored, a very grand piece indeed.
