Who said local community was dead? Well certainly not here in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. As you all know Antiques and Chic has moved to its new address in Sawbo (yes already using local terminology) It has been a very busy few weeks but we have had the best welcome that one could wish for. They say that one in six of us don't even know our neighbours but we have had such a warm welcome from our surrounding neighbours who not only have popped in for a browse (and a cup of tea) but have wished us well in our new venture.
Not forgetting all the local businesses who have made us feel like part of the community with many wishing us well and displaying our flyers in their own shops. Surely this is the way that more local business communities can survive together.
