What makes an item Antique?

An item is generally considered an antique if it is at least 100 years old in original or near original condition.  Antiques are typically valued for their historical significance, craftsmanship, style and at time rarity.

What makes an item Vintage?

An item is usually considered vintage if it is at least 20 years old. If it is representative of a particular era or style.  "Vintage" often implies an original item that captures the spirit or aesthetic of its time.
