Impressive Gothic Fusee Bracket Clock On Pedestal.
A very impressive clock, the bracket clock sits nearly on a oak base that when together looks like a longcase, not sure if the pedestal was made later than the clock but is a perfect match, the movement has been replaced with a very early fusee movement with a verge escapement, it fits in the dial but is just a time keeper and not a Westminster as the dial has 3 holes and thus movement just one, it starts and stops so could be a great project for a clock enthusiast who wants to get this restored.
Sizes 219 cms tall, 51 cms wide, 29 cms depth.
